One task set to me on my return from holiday was to prepare a small gift for my partners Grandad, ‘Fred’. While we were away he celebrated his 90th birthday. Nan ‘Glad’ also has celebrated her birthday. Daphne their daughter and my partner’s mum came up with the clever idea of buying them three trees (Woodland Trust) each in a new forest up in county Durham, Fred’s homeland. It is quite far away and so difficult for them to visit their trees and so we decided to make them a little reminder of their trees. We quite like this design and it fits with our plans for working with Woodlands in the near future. Therefore we are going to adopt this little design as our icon. |
