So far I have completed the two feathery outer panels of the Peacock Triptych. Once I had a few clear days I managed to make good progress and am now working on the final, largest and most complex of the windows. The trickiest part has been cutting the large blue body piece which was difficult because the glass is textured, making it less easy to get a clean cut and the curved neck that required a careful approach. The deadline for this work is June but there are a few other tasks to do including 9 small circular features that will be integrated into a fabricated iron structure that will overhang the garden design where these windows will be installed. |
