This week sees the continuation of the final of the three peacock panels. The first part has been very detailed and taken quite a lot of time. I have learnt a lot about ordering the cutting and leading of the pieces so they can be assembled. I had to disassemble part of the panel in order to get pieces of the head into place. However, I think one more day of cutting and leading will do it. After that I need to concentrate on constructing glass pieces to go in the overall ironwork canopy made by Blacksmiths Naomi, Mark and Dave. |
